I live in Whangarei, New Zealand and I spend way too much thinking about, cooking and eating food! Relentless Fooding is my way of learning more about food, photography and most importantly, it's a way for me to get my food thoughts in some sort of order! I'm also starting culinary school in 2011. Anyhow, whatever happens, I'm gonna try and make it fun. Choice.

I've got three fantastic flatmates who're very understanding of food obsession and don't make a fuss (even when I stink out the house cooking mutton bird).

I like researching and perfecting recipes and I love new flavours/combinations.

I've been to Whangerei and can still remember the shops downtown. My favourite NZ food item is the hot sauce made with kiwi and Manuka honey - a great product, which is very expensive here....

@islandeat - Such a small world! Ah, the Kaitaia Fire sauces! That's so neat that you know about it :) I don't know when you were in Whangarei last but I'm pretty sure it won't have changed much!!
